Dr. Anjani Kumar Jha (Head & Associate Professor)

Dr. Anjani Kumar Jha carries a rich experience of more than 27 Years in Academics and in Media Industry. He did his doctorate in journalism from M.C.N.U.J.C, Bhopal. He has formerly served in many prestigious media institutions like V.I.P.S and H.O.D in T.I.A.S. (NAAC accredited Grade A) and in M.A.I.M.S. (affiliated to G.G.S.I.P. University, Delhi), Professor & HOD, School of Media & Mass Communication, N.I.M.S. University, Jaipur, and Professor in Express Media Service Academy of Journalism, Bhopal and Jagat Pathak Patrakarita Sansthan, Bhopal. He had worked for Print Media for 8 years in various capacities for different Media Organisations. To mention a few are Navbharat, Swadesh, Dainik Bhaskar, Divya Himachal and Rashtriya Sahara. He worked in the capacity of Reporter, News Editor and Special Correspondent. He has been an scholar par excellence had got 4 fellowships from Ministry of Culture, Govt. of India, Kushabhau Thakre Patrakarita Vishwavidyalay, Raipur, MCNUJ, Bhopal, Ministry of Culture, Govt. of M.P. He has been resource person many conferences. He has participated in more than 55 national and international conferences/seminars/workshops/FDPs etc. and Chaired & co-chaired many technical sessions and delivered Keynote addresses. He is examiner and evaluator in leading institutions across the country like Jind University, Manipal University, Jaipur, MGAHV, Wardha, Dev Sanskriti Vishvidyalay, Haridwar, Central University of Gujarat, Gandhinagar, Lovely Professional University, Jalandhar, M.C.N.U.J.C., Bhopal, G.G.S.I.P. University, Delhi, C.C.S. University, Meerut, K.T.P. Vishwavidyalay, Raipur, Kendriya Hindi Sansthan, Agra, U.P.R.T Open university, Prayagraj. He has travelled across the length and breadth of the country on various academic and professional assignments. He has penned more than 1000 articles in various national, regional dailies and magazines. He has also written many chapters in books. He has authored 22 books. He has been bestowed with awards by many prestigious organisations some of his wards are Excellent Parliamentary Journalist Award, By Assembly of M.P., Bhopal, Best Writer Award, By Kadambini Education Committee, Shiksha Puraskar By M.H.R.D., New Delhi, for his book titled Madhya Bharat ke Adiwasi Aur Swatantrata Aandolan, C.I.J.H.A.R. Award For Best Research Paper (1st Prize). He has around 30 research papers to his credit. His core areas are Media Research, Print and Development Communication. He has supervised 4 PhD scholars. He is also a UGC Nominee for Local Programme & Management Committee. He is also a member of (L.P.P.M.C.) in Human Resource Development Centre- R.T.M., Nagpur University, member Academic Council- H.P Central University, Dharmashala, member Evaluation Committee C.H.D (Ministry Of Education) New Delhi. He is known for his social activism. He is presently also convenor of Bharat Muni Shodh Sanchar Peeth, M.G.C.U.B.
